traction issues at full throttle and shift points
Hey folks a newbie here asking about resolution to a new problem after a few small mod's. Vararam induction and Diablo Predator Sport tuner installed, and the good news is I can't get any traction under 70mph. I have read that this program (performance tune) slightly alters many different aspects of the cars general behavior, but the wheelspin I'm getting is similar to driving on ice upwards of 60mph, which I personally love but do I need to make any corrections to the car to compensate for the new settings? Only 9,000 on original run flats. Would love to hear any suggestions.
70 mph no traction .you got robbed they sold you a dog .check and see if ya got a plug wire off .you have the optional v8 right not the v6 ive heard the 6 bangers get no traction at 65 mph good luck. unreal

thanks for input
I shouldn't have said no traction @ 70 but will snap sideways momentarily if second gear is at lull (cruising at speed ) waiting for performance throttle smash, then this occurs. I,m not trying to boast just want the wife to be able to drive it w/out me being a basket case. I have the 3.15 axle ratio on tha A4 trans. But any full throttle below 45mph. results in drastic kick outs of the rear .

patton Im looking for help not abuse
One of the reasons I could get a vette was that it would be an auto so that twice a year she could drive what she was paying half for. I could not leave well enough alone to a #59 out of 60 car. The traction control issue happens at shifts and full throttle, and I am currently seeking more upgrades for next year so I'm just asking for ideas on abut the torque management settings and etc....not to log on and be beat upon .
Ease up on the guy; maybe he is just having trouble explaining his problem. I’ll try, even though I have a six speed. I think what you are saying is that when cruising around 60-70 mph and you step on the gas, the transmission downshifts, and the rear tires break loose and you get a little “fishtailing”? If this is what is happening, then it is probably due to a couple of things. The Predator tune firms up the shifting so that it comes on a little harder and your run flats are **** to begin with. Between the two of these, you can easily loose a little traction on the transmission downshift. At your power level, it shouldn’t be much of a problem, just enough to get your wife’s attention. Better tires should solve the problem, but if you start more mods and increase your power, it will come back along with a lot of other problems with more power (breaking parts).
LV VETTE has the right idea, those two changes should make a difference. My engine and trans are "tuned" and when I'm going 35-55 and it downshifts two or more gears to 1st at WOT its quite a kick in the butt. Seems the engine is really reving when the 1st gear kick takes hold. Un-tune the trans a little and get good traction tires (I use GY D3'3), best thing you could do is be aware of this touchy spot, especially on ANY slight curve or turn maneuver when you accidently go WOT. The D3's added the traction to reduce the speeds at which the back end looses it bad.(I've got 3.15 rear gears too, a great HP tune (Corvettes-of-Westchester), and Z06 intake/exhaust)

Thanks guys
I obviously didn't word my problem correctly for easy diagnonsis but I did read some other threads to find similar traction issues and I think you guys nailed it especially on the run flats being garbage, so thanks for the positive feedback.

you may be on the verge of the P1870 error code being activated. Sounds like the PCM has the line pressure seriously high... thinking there's driveline slip.

Mike I think you nailed that one... that thing must be shifting like a **** to do that..
My buddies Procharged 98 wont kick out the Run flats at 70!
He said his car is bascially stock.. I am wondering if he bought it second hand and the owner put a 3500 Stall in there....
