I'm getting close to replacing the original run flats on my '03 Coupe and wonder if anyone can suggest a run flat that is quieter than the Goodyears. They are awfully noisy.

Michelin Pilot Sports. had them installed at Discount tire. Matched tire racks price and got a road hazzard with them. The Michelin Pilot Sports are the only run flat that can be repaired other than the goodyears. Quiet and handle better.

As others have suggested on this post, the Michelin Pilot Sport AS ZP are much quieter, wear longer, and provide a better ride than the original GY. The reason for the overall better performance is that the Michelin ZP are designed to run for 50 miles without damage as opposed to the GY 200 mile spec. More flexible sidewall gives better ride.

I have several thousand miles on some Michelin AS/ZPs. As other have said, they are much quieter and ride and handle well. I'm not crazy about the look of the tire though. They don't look near as aggressive to me. Be sure to look at a set before buying them.
Someone else mentioned another important point... AS/ZPs can be repaired and most others cannot.

The new C6 Run-Flats are drasticly Improved...or so I read. You'll have to see If they make them In the 17/18" sizes VS the C6 18/19" sizes though. I'm sure they are available, best of luck~Chris
