I have this cutout system from Kirk Racing. http://www.streetpro.us/

When my car was tuned on the dyno it made 467 rwhp closed and 471 rwhp open cutout. It does make some hp but not much. I have seen more than 5 hp difference between two runs without any changes in the vehicle. I have the cutout because it sounds amazing. Without the cats my Vette sounds rediculous. Guys at Vengeance Racing in Cumming, Ga, the guys that did my engine work, seemed impressed with the functionality. I know several people who have the QTP cutout flanges on Camaros and they are very slow to open or close. It takes about 5 seconds while the Street Pro cutout takes about 1.5 to 2 secs. Just keep in mind that the installation of the kit will mean sacrificing your h-pipe and will cost about $100 on top of the kit cost. I was very impressed when I opened the box with all of the parts. I would strongly suggest getting some spark plug wire sheathing to protect the power wire for the actuator. I melted my first one and it fried an actuator. Good luck and I will be happy to answer any questions about the system.
