I have a 10-15 degree difference in what the temp gauge is saying compared to the DIC.
Which is more accurate and are they run off the same sensor?
Thanks for your help.
Both gauges get their data from the PCM on the serial link. The sensor is connected to the PCM. If the analog gauge is off from the digital reading in the DIC you must have a problem in the actual analog meter in the dash.
Bill
Thanks Bill,
Mine has been converted to RHD and the DIC is now in degrees celsius and obviously the analogue gauge is fahrenheit, but still when I convert it i am getting a difference. Do you think there could have been a problem when they changed it over or do you think it could be just a faulty gauge?
Geoff.
