Default where to test engine?

I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I am planning on buying an LS6 engine out of a wrecked car. I trust the person I am buying it from. He was going ot use it himself, but not for a few years, so he figured he would sell it to me and get another one later when he needed it.

My question is where can I bring the engine to have it tested to see if it runs or if it has any leaks? It will be all crated up already which is nice. I am purposely keeping this vague because I really only want to know where to bring the engine to be checked out.

Thanks!!

Well, one place to bring it would be to have it shipped to near where you're located.
