Very strange thing happened to me yesterday driving home. Heard a thump-thump-thump. Pulled the car over and noted that the wheel weights mounted on the inside of my rim were getting worn down by my caliper!
Took the wheel off today and the top bolt fell out of my caliper!!?
Luckily no serious damage done to the inside of the wheel or the caliper that I can tell. Located a bolt at Advance Auto Parts (comes in a hardware kit), but was wondering if anyone knew the torque spec for this bolt that holds the caliper to the bracket?
