Yesterday while coming home from a 300 mile trip, I pulled up the tire pressure on the DIC. This is the message I got "Front L 34 RxxxPSI". I pulled over and checked the pressure with a tire guage. The right front tire had 35 PSI. When I started the car and got back on the highway I checked the DIC again and the wierd message was gone. It now read "Front L35 R 35". This morning I pulled up the codes and it had C2105, R sensor malfunction--that was no surprise. My question is; now that is seems to be working again should I leave it alone?? As always thanks again for the valuable advice I always receive from my forum friends. ;)
Yes, I think you should leave it alone but keep an eye on it from time to time.
This happened to me once and I got that code too, but has not happened again. I would not worry about it.
Be sure to have your dealer make a notation about this problem the next time you go there. This will support your claim for repair even shortly after the warranty runs out.
mine was doing that for a while and shortly after I started getting "service tire mont syst" message on the DIC.....I took it to the dealer, they replaced the sensor.....still not fixed....they Re-replaced the sensor....still not fixed....replaced a relay....still not fixed......replaced something else......still not fixed....yesterday they Re-Re-Replaced the sensor and I haven't seen the message yet....though last night I dreamnt that I did!
5 times for a measily tire sensor...I could do with out them! Mine was Front right also...hmmmmm
Hope my sensors are okay, had 30 lbs cold & increased it to 33 lbs but the sensors still register 30 until the tires warm up & considering my dealer does not have the equipment to remove the run flats from the wheel would have to send it out.
When I ignored my "low tire pressure" warning on the DIC for a few days it changed to "service tire monitoring system" A little air in all 4 and the messages are gone and haven't recurred.
