While pressing the window switch, smack the inner door panel just to the upper right of the speaker with the palm of your hand. Should free up the window, but it's just temporary. Dealer will replace the motor.
There is a TSB on this problem. I had same problem on my 98 about 6 months ago. :rolleyes:
Dealer replaced motor while it was still under warranty. :chevy
Even if it does become unstuck, they should replace the window motor under warranty. I had that problem last year and it was replced without question. Best of luck.
Join the club...my 2000 coupe has the same problem...gonna take it to the dealer on Monday and get it fixed under warranty. This is actually the second time this has happened. I'll try that "smack the door" trick, though.
