Default Need Help !!!!

I am down in north carolina at camp lajuene for training....I live in virginia beach and my vette this morning decided to drop the oil pump.

I either have to take to a local dealer and get it fixed and come back down from virginia to get it.....or does anyone know, have, suggest a way to get it back to virginia beach.

I have one more week and a weekend down here then back to virginia....

Couldnt come at a worse time, I have to be back down here on Dec 1st for court...speeding ticket go figure....

I appreciate anyone who knows a shop, owns a shop, suggests a shop to get this fixed.

Can you rent a small UHaul truck with a two wheel auto dolly to pull behind. Put the rear wheels of the car on the dolly and lock the steering by taking the keys out of the car.

The steering wheel won't lock if it's had the column lock bypassed or removed. Look for a better hauling method.

Default Steerin fine

The engine is the problem....I have a trailer and u-haul truck reserved to get my car back to virginia beach.

Can you believe the only truck they had was a 14 foot box truck..I thought U-Haul had smaller trucks for small move..but anyways.

Worse case senario..rebuild hole engine and move on....but well see

I understand, I'm just telling you not to tow with the rear wheels up and depend on the wheel to lock when you take the key out if it's ever had it disabled. It would swerve all over the highway. The trailer is the way to go.
