BEWARE Nitrous Expres.....Poor Customer Service Experience!!!
I have had a GEN-X kit on my LPE 383 vette for over 2 years. System never worked correctly, contacted NX, did everything they said to do. Replaced a bunch of stuff, checked a bunch of stuff, bought new items from NX, tried different jetting/nozzle/line. Told them from the beginning that the solenoids should be replaced, because EVERYTHING else was checked thoroughly, they always said no. Finally sent solenoids in for warranty (weak magnets), and the filed some of the nitrous piston, and voila, the system works fine with normal jetting (was using 400 hp nitrous and 35 fuel jets...no kidding). I was happy system worked as it should have finaly, but REALLY angry that it took so long and so much money to get it to work. Contacted the owner, he told me to take everything off and send it in for a refund. I told him I had two years of time, aggrivation, labor, and money invested, way past the initial kit proce, but he did not care. I will be stripping off my nitrous system soon to get his refund, and will be getting a TNT nitrous kit to replace it with. Nitrous Express seems to make good products (except for solenoids), but they have horrible customer service.

I've GOT to jump in on this one and defend NX.. They don't know me or owe me anything but once I started putting on their equipment, they've been fantastic! I had some rookie questions, they took the time to answer them. I had a filter leak, they replaced it free. I wanted a splice in a line for a filter.. no problem. I cited competitive pricing on NOS filling station equipment, they matched it. In EVERY case, they have been very helpful, very professional, and have followed through on every committment they made to me.
I have NO affiliation with NX other than that of a satisfied customer. I would HIGHLY recommend their customer service and products.

I can definitely sympathize with you SBD. Very frustrating. On the other hand, a full refund after 2 yrs. seems pretty fair. They could have been much more of an A-hole... :yesnod:
