Default wheel help. please!!!

ok, im getting ready to order a set of iforged aero's im undecided. my question is if i go w/ 18's all the way around. what offset will i need in the rear for a 335/30/18 tire? ive heard of some people running 18x11, 18x11.5, and 18x12. which one would be best? also if i were to run a 19x12 and a 325/30/19 would i need a tub kit? last but not least if i were to go with 19's when are the drag radials coming out?? thanks in advance!!!

Iforged should know what offset you need, depending on what size wheel/tire you decide to run. That way if they mess up they're responsible. Unless you want the tire sticking out, you will most likely need to tub to run a 12" wide wheel. A friend had 11.5" CCWs with Michelin 335/30 - 18 tires and it barely fit; he had lowered his car and actually had to raise it up a bit to keep the tire from rubbing the fender.

Sorry but I don't follow 19" set-ups very much; drag radial or not, why would you want a 19" for drag racing? It by design will inherently not work as well as a smaller diameter tire....

I have 18x11" rear wheels and a 295/35 width tire is really a tad small; problem is your selection gets pretty thin with extreme sizes (305/35 Nitto RII would fit well, but I'm hesitant to use it in the rain).

I guess you'll have to decide what you need and what you want (I suspect you may have to compromise) to come up with your final choice.

yes, normaly i wouldnt want a 19" drag radial. however, my car will be putting down 700+rwhp. so it will mainly be for traction and of course looks.

*I would suggest a Tub kit with that wide a tire because when you go that wide without a tub, your rear tires will be sticking out & you will soon have stone chips on your nice paint (I.M.H.O) I may tub out my Z one day, and throw some 05'-06' Z06 wheels with 275 Front & 325-335 rears In the 17&18"package. Best of luck to you & I hope It all works out. ~CHRiS
