Inside Rear View Mirror - Switch Back Lights

Does anyone know anything about the Back Lighting for the switch buttons on the front of the Inside Day-Night Rear View Mirror? How to change the light (if possible).

I have an 02 Coupe and after Successfully changing the climate control light back lighting bulbs I realized that the Inside Mirror Switch Button Back Lights are out (don''t really remember them on). The Curtesy lights and the Amber Flood on the bottom of the mirror all work fine - just no back lights for the switches.

Any insight would be appreciated. LED or Bulb, how to take mirror apart etc.

the switches on my rear view mirror don't have backlights either...

Only thing on the rear-view mirror is the Green "ON" light to indicate that the electrochromatic feature is enabled for the rear view mirror and the driver's side mirror.
