LS1 Idle Learn Prcedure (from How to Understand, Service and Modify Corvette Fuel Injection and Electronic Engine Management by the late Charles O. Probst)

Here's how you help the computer relearn the minum throttle angle:

(First, disconnect the battery)

Automatic Transmission LS1

1. Turn the key off, reconnect the battery, turn the AC control off, set the parking brake, and block the drive wheels.

2. Start the engine, shift to drive, let the engine idle for five minutes.

3. Turn the AC control on (make sure the AC button light is on). Idle for another five minutes.

4. Leave AC on, shift into park, and idle for yet another five minutes.

5. Turn the AC off, and idle for a final five minutes.

6. Finally, turn the engine off for at least 30 seconds.

Manual Transmission LS1

1. Turn the key off, reconnect the battery, turn the AC control off, set the parking brake, and block the drive wheels.

2. With the transmission in neutral, start the engine.

3. Turn the AC control on (make sure the AC button light is on), and idle for five minutes.

4. Turn the AC off, and idle for another five minutes.

5. Turn the engine off for at least 30 seconds.

Yep. Only thing I would add is that the operating temp needs to be above 176 deg, according to what I've read in the past.

When power is lost to the PCM, there is more then just the idle relearn process.
There also must be Crank (CKP) Sensor Relearn Process done, else you can get multi-misfires if the sensor postion is not learned.

Also you need to do a valid drive cycle relearn, I listed that process at
