Column Lock
The message "Service Column Lock" just appeared on the DIC on my 2000 convertable.I had the recall work done over a year ago.I did just have to have the ignition switch replaced,I'm wondering is it related to that.It's been less than 100 miles.Has anyone had this message appear on their vette?

First of all, check out the sticky thread on this problem.
Second, what transmission do you have? (It makes a difference).
Third, do you know exactly what work was done when they did the recall? (There have been a few versions).
Fourth, I doubt the ignition service had anything to do with it, unless they somehow bumped/damaged/whatever the wiring/harness that pertains to the column lock.
