I have a 2005 C6. This morning as I was driving to work doing about 60 mph the car started to swerve left and right for no reason. As this happened the display said that the active handling sytem is disabled and needs maintenance. I was able to get it under control and the car seems to be steering normal but the active handling light on the istument cluster is lit and won't extinguish even if I turn the active handling systme back on. Has any one had any problems like this?
There seems to be a lot of problems posted on the Forum (myself included) with the Active Handling/ Traction Control. I wonder why this is so?? Change of seasons, temperature, rain??

YOUR EBTCM could be defective...this is the control module for Active Handling, Traction Control & Anti-Lock Brake features....on your 2005 it should still be under warranty....it is a $650 part from GM Direct parts & takes 30 minutes to install...don't let your Chevy Stealership tell you it costs more than that... with a 1 hour minimum labor charge to install..
