Burning Oil Smell
Just noticed this after hard left turns--seems to go away after a few minutes. There are no signs of oil beneath the car and can"t see any oil looking at the engine from above. Any ideas?? The car is scheduled for the column lock recall next week and I'd like have an idea of what they should look for on the burning oil smell. Thanks

I had the same smell........almost a propane smell coming in through the A/C vents when I was slowed in traffic.
It was the differential fluid burning on the exhaust pipe and muffler (driver's side).
