Default Drag Race Question re Active Handling

Have any of you who drag race your C5s figured what to do with the "active handling" button on the console? I got some bogging off the line today with the system left on and am not sure if that is the culprit or maybe it's just my driving. Thanks
Vinny

Default Ah

Just press the button to turn AH off or if you have the later generation AH you can hold the button down for a few seconds to go into competition mode which turns off traction control, but leaves on active handling. Hope this helps.

It sounds like your traction control was kicking in.

In the case of my '02 Z06, if I press the button once it will turn off active handling and traction control, hold it down for 10 sec and it goes to competition mode where active handling is still active but traction control is off.

I agree. You want to de-activate the traction control but retain active handling. You'll see "Competition Mode" displayed on your DIC after you've held the button down as mentioned above. You want to keep your active handling alive as it will keep your car in a straight line.

Have Fun!

comp mode is best, lets you spin the tires but if something crazy happens it will keep you straight
