Does anyone know how much timing, or I should say how much power is pulled when the reserve fuel level light comes on and how long it takes to revive itself. I always seem to run it low on fuel to the reserve light and it just doesn't seem to recover on power for awhile, I think through one full tank. Any help? Besides, don't let it get that low thanks
I've never heard, and have never experienced, any engine performance change when the fuel quantity sensors (which are known for their inaccuracy) indicate low fuel quantities. In fact, many autocross competitors run the minimum fuel possible for weight reasons.

HTH, and have a good one,
Mike
I hit the low fuel/reserve fuel light all the time. I've never noticed any power reduction of any kind. This would particularly be a problem for us who track the cars.
