Dic problems. Whats the fix?

Dic problems. Whats the fix?

My Dic comes on and off. Touch pad functions some times works, other times not.
For those of you that had your Dic's repaired. What did the dealership do? Replace computer? Every thing else works fine.

The DIC harness plugs into the right side of the instrument cluster,sounds like a loose connection :yesnod:

I just had collum lock recall service done. During collum lock recall repair could DIC harness be accessed?

I agree, I'm tired of all you guys with your dic problems. More so with you because you admitted to trying to fix it with your touch pads. :D

How hard is it to get to the DIC wiring harness?
Would like to try connection myself. Everytime I take car into dealer I get a new problem :mad

During the recall,they simply would not be that far into the dash...To access the harness,you will either have to remove the cluster OR remove the upper dash pad cover...6 or 1/2 dozen :yesnod:
