Default Chrome cap on fuel rail?

I just picked up a Z16 and noticed a chrome cap on the pressure regulator ?( hat or bell shaped device on the driver side fuel rail) under a red covers. It's loose and doesn't seem like it was ever really tight.
I can't remember it on the other car I had. Is this after market bling
or did it come this way. I seem to remember a vac. line running here
on some earlier cars, but this one doesn't have it. Is that correct? Thanks for any help.

it is just a schrader valve cover, previous owner probabily put it on as they dont come with one. It is just a pressure test valve.

No, it's about an inch tall and 1.5 inches in diameter with a .25 inch
rim, on what looks like a pressure regulator. It looks like a cosmetic cover, although you'd never see it under the fuel rail covers. I'm doing this all from memory while at work. Thanks.

If it's the piece depicted in the pic below, it's the fuel pulse dampener.

I think that piece comes with the stainless steel intake cover made by Kirban.Had this on my car for a while until I switched to the CEC part.

Default That's it!

Fuel pulse dampener. See what relying on my memory gets me.
I took the stainless cover off and saw the cap hanging there. It
doesn't fit real tight. Anyone want a stainless steel intake cover
Thanks guys!
