I asume you mean exhaust cutouts? I have them on my car and 1BADBURB has on his also. He recently posted some video with sound clip of his exhaust. I have McLouds and I will have to look at a link of what AJ put on his.

My car is a MN6 and have mine installed in the Corsa x-pipe right before the catback flange. Aj has his installed in the pipe after the catback flange. He used a angled pipe which probably flows better, as mine were welded in at almost a 90 degree angle.
Wiring them was very simple and installed the switch in the ashtray compartment.

No leaks on mine and I am very satisfied with them. I can take a picture of mine tomorrow and post it then.

Here is a set of McCord Power Plates electronic cutouts installed in a LG x-pipe. With a touch of a switch you can go from mild to wild. Unlike loud pipes the best part of cutouts is if you don't want to hear the racket you can just turn it off. You can dial up exactly how obnoxious you want to be.

I don't know what I was thinking when I said McLouds. I guess I had the loud part on my mind. I have McCords as well. Here is a pic of mine, almost the same as Speedy, 'cept mine is a bit dirty....er....errr!

Very nice, how much for the total package?

I have the set up installed as pictured in the photo above. About $500 total for the McCord cutouts and exhaust pipe fab work. I did the wiring and switch install myself so maybe I saved a few bucks? Good mod but I don't open them as much as I did when I first got them. NASCAR loud with LT headers .

I love mine. I also have them behind the diff. I've got QTPs on an otherwise stock exhaust. I almost always have them open, but it's not too loud with 4 cats. I'm interested in how much I'll have them open next year with LTs and HF cats.

I've got a single cutout setup from Streetpro.us.

There are a few extra welds on mine from where it has been removed.

One thing that has impressed me about the street pro system is how fast the cutout opens and closes. Takes anywhere from 1.5 to 3 seconds to open or close.

Nice. I have Kooks also. Looks like from the other pictures in this posts the tranny brace won't be an issue either.

Got a set of QTP's installed and they work nicely. No problems with leaks but I've found that there's a sweet spot in closing them that you have to learn to get them to seal completely - no big deal, you just listen as you press the switch. I did redo the seal with RTV once before I figured this out.

No problem at all with clearance as mine are actually slightly tucked relative to the surrounding structures. They sound great when open and it's a relief to be able to go stealth when the local gendarme drives by with an eyebrow raised . . .

I actually (for the heck of it) did a CAD model of the setup to take to the fab shop so they could see what I wanted.

Switch box was a custom replacement. I reverse-engineered the original ashtray, drew it up and had a machine shop fab it up in black Delrin.

That's the old McCord switch before I switched the cutouts to QTP's.

Boy, I would like to do something like this, but with an A4 transmission, there just is not enough room to place the cutouts

There is, Keith - a few A4 guys have placed them after the over-axle humps, just before the mufflers. Looks and works great.

Here's Tony Mamo's setup - on Ti's no less.

And SilverC5inOhio's gorgeous polished setup.

Anyone know the difference between McCord and QTP. I have QTP and have had zero problems from them so far.

I've had both and the QTP's are, or at least were back about 3-4 years ago, definitely better quality. I had shorts in the McCords I could just not resolve. Had one with the QTP's that came from factory via a bad solder joint but that was easily fixed. Been fine ever since.
