Default Announcement (Gene@FredBeans)

Hi All,

I just wanted to let you all know what has happened. Fred Beans and I are no longer affiliated. I have nothing against the organization or any hard feelings. It's just one of these things where you wake up in the morning and things have changed and it's time for both of you to move on. Jeremy is no longer with the company either.

I just wanted to let you know what is going on and what my thoughts are. What I do just isn't a job, it's my passion. I love to sell parts on the internet and interact with the group. For quite some time I did the forums and all on the side and it wasn't part of my job. I grew that into a business that I had to take care of full time.

I will be moving to another place of business and will provide you with another website and phone number to order from as soon as I decide on a new home and as soon as I start a new advertisement with the forum management.

I thank you all for your support and most importantly I thank you for your business. This screen name and email address goes to my home, so feel free to send me a message.

Thank you,
Gene

Gene, you have provided well above average service and sales to the members of the Corvette Forum - that is no easy task considering the wide spectrum of a nationally based customer base. Your credibility rose well above many other forum venders because you earned that respect. Thank you and good luck in your next career venture, hoping I can support you as a customer in whatever it may be.

Wow, I am pretty humbled by all of this. Doing what I did was really my passion and I had no idea how many people I have touched.

As far as being in the GM business, yes... I will be. I have too many loyal people to move on to another venture. GM parts and the internet business and forums and all is really my passion and specialty. I am a GM man and always have been. I'm 32 and have been in the GM parts business since I was 18, so I have a lot at stake in the GM business.

I thank you all for your support and mention of following. I promise to each and every one of you that when I move and you bring your business to me I will find some way to reward all of you. Each and every one.

I am getting a lot of PM's and traffic and it is very uplifting. It only makes me want to work harder for all of you when I do land at my new home. Please keep the messages and all coming, as it is good in many ways.

As far as all vendors and all I've done business with, I will contact or please contact me when I land.

Thank you, you have all made my day in this tough time.
Gene.

Well said.

I only had a couple opportunities to purchase parts from you Gene, but you really took good care of me (even answered a few silly questions on email!). I'll be watching out for where you land, and will make a point of shopping with you. Thanks for the great service. Chris ...

Default Gene (not) @ Fred Beans

I want to also thank Gene Culley for his remarkable service to this and other forums. If I wanted a part for my Z06 or CTS-V, he was there. One time he took the extra effort to look up and deliver to me the $2.78 rubber gas door bumper for my Z. In turn, I bought my Tech 2 from him. That's the type of guy I want to buy my parts from. Hope you stay with GM, Gene. We need you, pal!

I haven't talked to you myself, but I have talked to Jeremy several times when I ordered parts from Fred Beans. It seems pretty obvious that we all appreciate the work that you guys have done so far, and will follow you where you land. Intelligent and organized parts guys are hard to come by and are very appreciated.

Keep us posted!
