Super chargers
I just had one of my Engineering interns that attends the local college take a feild trip to Eaton Superchargers in Athens Georgia. They were told that Eaton is making a new super charger for an american built performance car that has two seats and would be putting out around 600hp. Anyone heard any news on this? Vette, modified Ford GT40, pontiac solstice, Mercedes, ....????

It should be for the new GenX motor that replaces the LS1-6 engines. The 2008 OBDIII requirments will require a new motor and GM is looking at a 6.2/6.4L supercharged engine for the Corvette and possible the Comaro...A few bulging hood cars with manufacturer plates have been see around the test grounds.
