What car ramps are available for the C-5 ? Has anyone ever used the Rhino car ramps?
I like many here have used Rhino Ramps. They are great for the C5, either to raise the front (drive up) or the rear (back up). They give you enough clearance for an oil change, etc.
Is there any clearance problems. if so what can I use?
The gray (low-profile) ramps will work better with a c5. The standard black ones will scrape the front air dam hard when driving on/off. There are several other designs available as well, including stepped/stacked 2x10s, that work well even for lowered cars. I have the black rhino ramps and made a copy of the wooden ones posted by member MikeMercury. I primarily use the black ramps for support once lifted. The wooden ones have more lift and a more gradual rise.
I use the gray Rhino Ramps. There rated at 12000lbs so I can use them on my truck and suv with a lot of comfort factor also. No board needed on my ZO6.
P.S How thick is the board in front of the ramps for the gray type?
I haven't used the gray ramps, but am under the impression that stock height cars can use them as-is without damage. Even if it does touch, the front air dam is meant to give a little.
