I just had to let you guys know what a great job The Vette Doctors did with my 2001 LS1.
After talking with them I decided to go with their Rx450 package with the addition of the Corsa Pace Car exhaust and a 390 rear with hardened output shafts.
The final dyno numbers are 428 rwhp and 366 rwtq. It started out with 312 rwhp and 326 rwtq.
I wonder what it would do at the track with some practice?
Rx 450
This Vette Doctor prescription will produce approximately 450 horsepower at the engine and 400 rear wheel horsepower (380 lbs-ft of torque) on six speed cars. Horsepower will vary depending upon customer selection of camshaft and cylinders heads to produce from 360 to over 425 rear wheel horsepower. Horsepower for automatic transmission cars will be slightly lower due to additional drivetrain loss.
This prescription includes engine disassembly and inspection; custom porting and polishing of cylinder heads; high performance custom ground roller camshaft, valve springs, and chrome-moly push rods; titanium valve spring retainers; custom PCM; high performance air intake system; high performance exhaust system; engine assembly, performance dyno tuning, and chassis dyno testing.
Before and after chassis Dyno testing will be performed on your vehicle to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Great to hear about your results. Carmen, Dennis and Joey do all the work on my car as well. I am contemplating the RX450 update for the winter.
By the way, I saw a Black C5 go past me on Southern State (just before New Highway exit) this morning around 7:20 AM with a license plate RX450....any chance that was you?
Again congrats on the mods and get it to the track either at the National Corvette Challenge (Feb 24th) in Virginia or the start of the 2007 Corvette Challenge series (usually around the 2nd week of March) at RAceway Park, englishtown NJ.
Estimate would be 11.3 to 11.6 depending on the air

Congrats and welcome to The Vette Doctors family! Power is addictive as I also started with "just" an Rx-450 and went from there. For all of my money spent on my ride I could have just went with a C5R Powertrain from the beginning and been done with it!!
How much do they charge for this package, and what does the "performance exhaust" consist of?

The performance exhaust is American Racing Headers, high flow cats, and all the plumbing back to your existing exhaust. As previously suggested I would call them if you want to talk cost. They can do as much or as little as you want.
