Default Active Handling / ABS Warnings

I am getting the following warnings:

Service active handling
Service traction control
Service ABS

These are the codes I'm getting:

C1222H RF wheel speed sensor input signal is 0
C1226H RF excessive wheel speed variation
C1233H RF wheel speed circuit open or shorted

I just got this car and don't know anything about the active handling. What should I look for and any suggestions on how to repair?

Thanks,

Scott

I'm a new corvette owner myself. I had this warning pop up about 2 weeks ago. freaked out. When I went to my car at lunch, it was clear and never came back. There was a posting on the forum that talked about it. In my case, it rained the night before and I suspect moisture may have been the cause. But I have had no problems other than the one time.

Just like your codes suggest I would start by troubleshooting the RF wheel speed sensor. Make sure the sensor is securely mounted, has a good connection with no rust or bent pins and then go from there.

Sounds like the RF speed sensor jumper harness is not making good contact. Very common. The jumper harness is about 60 bucks from the dealer and easy to replace. You can clear the codes and swap the jumper harness from left to right, if the codes move to the LF then for sure its the jumper harness.

The codes point to an intermittent problem with the wiring harness to the RF wheel sensor. The wiring harness is easily seen from the bottom of the car as it runs along the lower A arm to the wheel. Either one of the connectors is dirty/corroded and making a poor contact, or one of the wires is cracked/broken resulting in an intermittent contact. Simple to check and fix.

I switched the cable to the other side and still only had the problem on the right side. Replaced the hub and now it is fixed.
