97-98 coil mounts. Are the heads such a good deal that you can't return them?

On the 98's the coils are bolted directly onto the valve covers, no coil mounts needed. Coil mounts will not fit without modifications. At least that's how it is on my 98 coupe.

Sorry, guess it's the other way around. 97-98 to late model, you need coil brackets, plus new valve covers.

need to clarify, you have a 2000; 99-04 have the centerbolt v/c's, what are you trying to do?

Seems as though he's bought some cylinder heads that require perimeter bolt valve covers and he's trying to see what all would be required in order use them. Least that's the impression I'm getting.

He has a 2000 but bought some older perimeter style Patriot ported heads and needs to know what all he needs to make them work.

: perimeter valve covers (whats a fair price for a set?)
: Coils mount to valve covers on them years

The questions

: Will 2000 FRC's fit on perimeter valve covers?
: Is their anything else needed to make these work?

Just so happens im doing the opposite swap, but I already have valve covers. The wiring on the newer ones are closer together. The old ones have 3 coils facing the same way then the last one is flipped. newer coil pack wires are diffrent lengths. Also the clip to mount the connector is diffrent. If you want to work out a trade I will be willing to swap you wiring looms and ill even give you the old valve covers if you pay both shippings. I even have the bolts and gaskets that are still good.
