like a fool I bought a set of head that are perimeter bolt instead of center bolt.(I have a 2000)What else would I need outside of the older valve cover to make the convertion. Thanks,Dave
97-98 coil mounts. Are the heads such a good deal that you can't return them?
On the 98's the coils are bolted directly onto the valve covers, no coil mounts needed. Coil mounts will not fit without modifications. At least that's how it is on my 98 coupe.

Seems as though he's bought some cylinder heads that require perimeter bolt valve covers and he's trying to see what all would be required in order use them. Least that's the impression I'm getting.
Just so happens im doing the opposite swap, but I already have valve covers. The wiring on the newer ones are closer together. The old ones have 3 coils facing the same way then the last one is flipped. newer coil pack wires are diffrent lengths. Also the clip to mount the connector is diffrent. If you want to work out a trade I will be willing to swap you wiring looms and ill even give you the old valve covers if you pay both shippings. I even have the bolts and gaskets that are still good.
