Default Just Installed Dynatech Long Tube headers

and I must say these headers are sweet. Took 6-7 hours with two people on a lift to finish. I also changed wires, plugs and fuel filter at same time.

The instructions are very helpful, but be careful with the bolts they provide, they don't explain which go where. I searched the forum and found the tips by other members very helpful and a MUST for anyone who does this install on their own.

One other tip. when installing the p/s header try to not angle as much and go straight down. Also the cats are a PITA to install, because it takes time to do it by hand. (half hour alone).

My car is an 01 A4 and I didn't need to loosen the Alternator.

I was also very lucky, because the exhaust tips where aligned perfect after install.

On a side note, I am worried about exhaust leaks. How do I tell if I have one. I don't think I do, but you never know.

Well after driving the car all weekend, I must say it is much louder, in a good way. Idle is the same, but on acceleration she screams. And at WOT she really comes alive.

Great system and would recommend them to everyone.

I've had these headers for 2 years in December and I love them. Highly recommended to anyone that's looking for headers.

I had them on the 346. Great fit and finish.

Be sure to re-tighten all the clamp after a week or so.

I too have heard nothing but good things about the quality of the Dynatechs. Best of luck with them on your car.
