Default Tune-up and Maintenance

Hey Y'all

Total newb here. I just bought a 2002 silver Z06. I live in southern California, near the IE area. It's been about a month and I feel as though I may have not gotten the best deal. It's at 33k miles and I can already see a few minor pieces missing. I'd like to have my car thoroughly checked and tuned up, as well as fixing the minor pieces that are missing. I'm looking at just taking it to a dealership and asking them to work on it. I've had issues with not-so-smart-mechanics-at-dealerships so I was wondering if there was a shop that perhaps may specialize in corvettes. Any help would be great.

Thanks!

There's a place around LA called Corvette Mikes. They are awesome and know everything about Vettes. Someone around that area might have there number or address.

Both of the above have good reps concerning working on Vettes.

Welcome!

I got my '02 at Moreno Valley Chevy - not a big Vette store but Tommy is a great C5/C6 Master Tech there.

We now live in Temecula, and I've had great success with Matt, my service writer at Paradise Chevy.

I hear OCC (Orange County Corvettes) in Irvine are top notch and they are a forum supporting vendor - I'm about to call them about a tune and some other things...

Best of luck!
