Default What you be more reliable??

Hello, I am really trying to figure out what to do with my 2002 Corvette. Currently all I have done to it is a SLP Loudmouth Exhaust and a Callaway honker. I am going to be doing supporting mods such as headers, gears, and a converter very soon. And then I am trying to decide on if I want to add a cam or if I should just do nitrous and forget the cam. What would be more reliable if I did a safe dry or wet 100 shot or if I added a G5x3 cam @ 114 LSA? What do you think is the better way to go? Thanks

Wet is always safer-too rich is always safer than too lean.

A mild H/C package would be just as reliable and the power is always there, not just at the press of a button. While nitrous may be fun, you have to deal with cost of refills and such.

I don't have anything against nitrous, but I would go H/C before Nitrous

Seems like everyone is thinking a cam and supporting bolt ons. I've also seen the g5x3 cam with supporting bolt ons with 400rwhp. Pretty impressive. I think I've found out what my set up is going to be, and thats the cam. Thanks guys.

I am an H/C guy myself...however there is one great advantage for the nitrous setup : Cost.

i was thinking nitrous too and liked the cost or what I thought was the initial cost but as you add in the other things like remote switches, blow down, bottle heaters etc, it adds up. One set up was almost $1000.00. For close to that price a cam and heads are in range and like what was posted earlier, the HP is always there, unlike the nitrous.
I wish you the best whichever route you choose.

Nitrous is to H/C what a cheap hooker is to a fine woman
