Rear gears revisited....
Thanks to all you guys out there for your input. I'm going to take the Vette on a trip once a year from Michigan to the mountains, the Blue Ridge Parkway, I drive a Denali to work 40 miles one way, so gas milage isn't a question. I work for GM and the Vette is my toy, just put a Borla Stinger on it after hearing a friends from work, I know, copycat. The guy in Troy that offered the ride, I work in Warren and would like to contact you about where and when you did mods. Mike Mercury, awesome site there, I read it last night, great info, it's been many years since I had my 461 cu.in. tunnelrammed,ford 9in. 457 Detroit Locker, auto, 76' Camaro, did it all myself except welding work and engine machining, loved that car and then came the family. Mike, got the formula for figuring out exactly what RPM I would be doing at 80 with the 315, and the 373? Thanks again guys, you've all been great.
