Depends on why you're doing it. It will probably add some midrange torque. It will definatly quiet down your exhaust a little, and reduce decelleration "pops". I replaced the factory H pipe with an X pipe after doing Corsa Indy cat back. I liked the results then, and more so now with long tube headers. Sounds great but so loud that I draw every cop car for blocks around (driving an "arrest-me-red" drop top, somewhat speedily, is bad enough) :D
IMHO if you like the sound now, it will be too subdued with an X pipe and factory exhaust.

Just witnessed a before and after dyno run with X-pipe along with 40 witnesses, Lost 5 hp.......The computer was reset each time so don't use that as an excuse. Also, it was done by an exhaust manufacturer that was trying to sell them.

Well, there really arent any pops right now, and I don't really mind the way my other car sounded when burbling. So is there any advantage really? If it's losing horsepower, what good is it?
