i have been having trouble with my a/c always coming on when i start the car. the problem (my ignorance) was in the memory setting. if your a/c was in auto when you programmed your driver 1,2 or both memory setting, the climate control will start in auto with a/c on when you use your fob. if you don't like that, as i did, just make sure your auto climate control is not in auto and set the mode to your preference and then program your driver setting by holding in on the memory button on the door. next time you use your fob, the memory will remember your preferences for mirror, steering wheel forward, climate control setting, radio presets etc. a lot of you guys already probably know this but some responses to my earlier post and other posts i have read indicate there was misunderstanding or lack of knowledge by new owners like me so i got back into the owners manual. so, i hope this helps some of us new c5 owners.
ps i am still working on some used hockey pucks. i am a high school math teacher and i have a couple of varsity hockey players in my class. i think i may offer some extra credit for figuring out the geometry of the hockey puck! makes perfectly good sense to me! now all i have to figure out is what the eye bolt is for.

With any luck none of your students will see this.
Insert the puck/eye bolt into the jack point slot and turn 90 degrees. The eye bolt holds the puck in place. As for the geometry of the puck, I'll take a stab at solid right circular cylinder. How many points for chemistry/composition?
