Hey guys...wanted to know what would be a good overhead cam package to get that “popcorn rumble” sound. I’m new to performance modification, so if I need other pieces beside overhead cams let me know. Thanks!

Don't know what you're talking about...LS1's do not have an "overhead cam". I suggest you do a little more research...
There is no such thing as an overhead cam on the LS-1 or any Corvette engine ever manufactured, with the exception of the ZR-1 (LT-5), which was produced from 1990-1995. Just over 6900 32 valve 4 overhead camshaft models were produced during this entire span.. I believe that GM's only other overheadcam V-8 is the NotrhStar engine found mostly in Cadillacs
Ok guys, be nice to the kid. So he does not know much about engines, thats obvious.. This is what the Forum is about. Learn, educate, ask questions, solve problems etc... I remember when I was 14 years old I thought that the heads were just another name used for the pistons..:o

First time i heard of a head package, i thought......well you know, but for the newbie, East Coast Superchargers(cars) just made my car sound like a 1970' big block 396 Chevelle, with just using their custom cam. It increased the rwhp by 70hp/14ftlbs of tq.

Now that all the laughing is over, you can check with ARAO for their
overhead cam package. http://www.araoengineering.com/Chevy/chevysmb.htm
I think this was specifically set up for LT1/4s. Moser Engineering (?)
did something like this too...I think.
I don't think this is what you really wanted, but it is out there.
In the future, you'll have better luck asking about stick-on engine covers and billet tail light grills.
Post up in the regional section asking people for recommendations for a quality shop in your area. Visit them and get their suggestions. I really don't think you are yet prepared to be asking this type of question here.
The second site shows a couple of good animations and pictures or overhead cams, double overhead cams, and pushrod style engines.
Like others have said all corvettes have been pushrods except for the LT5 Z51 package in the early 90s. This ZR1 package alone was 30K on top of the base vette skicker price...
Anyway, the LS1 and LS6 engines found in the C5 vettes are both pushrods engines. The have a "centrally" located cam shaft that uses pushrods and rockers to open the valves...
I have seen some wild stuff where people have tried to convert these pushrods to an overhead cam style but it will be very costly and i doubt this is what you are looking for.
Instead, you should be looking at a cam, heads, headers, and a good tune....

If you want a nice Lope I would go with a 112 LSA. Heres an example of my favorite cam specs 224/224 563.563 114 LSA by Thunder Racing. I like the 114 LSA better because It will be easier on emissions & Idle a bit better. It has a little less In the low to mid range I believe, but more In the upper range. The higher the LSA the better the Idle In most cases. I'm no expert by any means~Thats just a basic dialog.
Go with a H/C (Heads&Cam) package ~AFR Heads~ & people are getting an additional 100+RWHP from what I've read. Not bad at all.
