Default Quick exhaust question...

What exhaust will make a bit tighter sound then B&B bullets? The bullets seem they might be a bit loose sounding if you don't floor it everytime. Any ideas? I like loud, but not loose.

LT headers through Ti sounds perfect to me. Nice and quiet at cruise, good bark at higher RPM's, and light too!

WTH is "loose" sounding? If by that, you mean low-pitched, and you want high, try Corsa Tis.

By "loose", I mean sounding like my neighbors 92 chevy pickup with cat backs. Extremely tight would be found on a Farrari.

I should add that my my "neighbor" is a younger guy with a rust bucket... Those loud farm pipes sound like cra*. I have not heard the a Vett with catbacks, but I'm assuming it sounds a LOT better. ; )

You would definately like the sound of Corsa Pace Car behind Bassani X pipe. I know I do. It's not a low-pitched drone, but a higher, more exotic sound.

Thanks for the info! Ideally I would like to purchase only the catback system...funds are tight.

Forget Corsa Tis, then. They're expensive. Oh, and BTW, a pushrod V-8 will never sound like a 12 cyl. DOHC Ferrari.

Thanks guys...so far it looks like a used set of Bullets will be my best bet. This might be for another thread, but I suppose you need a lift to install?

Maybe GHL would. I know there Is GHL Magnums and another type of GHL which may be louder but not entirely sure on that. Headers are a good edition & X-Pipe I know for sure.

You'd probably like the sound out of a set up like this as well, Fortunaltly it was all done when I bought the Z about 3 weeks ago

You might want to take a look at the Bassani aft cat systems as well. While not as popular as the Bullets, Corsa, or Borla I think they have a great sound and I have gotten alot of compliments on the tip design.
