Do this Exhaust Mod ?
Per RichieRichZ06, I have decided to pull the trigger and do this to me AE
Before I make a mistake, is there any real down-side. I cannot figure that there is the dreaded DRONE and yet should really bark at WOT
Give me some "quick" feedback.

I did this on my 2000 and I've been pretty happy with it. I went back and spray painted it black all over except for the tips. This helps hide the modification for the visual annual inspection they have here.
It pops between shifts but I can feather the gas so it won't do that...but I like it the noise.
It also gurgles and 'talks' a lot more while coasting down in gear.
I have not noticed any drone but I'm comparing that to my old Camaro with a cutout under the rear seat. That thing had a lot of drone.
I say do it. If you don't like it then buy an overpriced catback, but at least you tried the least expensive alternative first!
