I just went to Autozone and bought the red Duplicolor caliper paint kit for about $15 bucks and painted the entire caliper on each wheel. Came out great, then I used my Dremel to just sand off each letter for a beautiful shiny metallic look on the letters. Came out great and very straight forward.
Basically did the same thing. Make sure you wear surgical gloves and old clothes when you use this stuff. I used a flat file after to get the letters cleaned up. Couple swipes and the letters are shiny as can be!
I didn't see If anyone mentioned this or not, but If your going to paint your calipers yourself just make sure It's paint from a real caliper paint kit & not regular spray paint, or even worse touch up paint. I've been told It can not handle the cold weather In the winter and could cause braking problems~This was just what two different people have told me over the years. I'm glad mine came In Red, otherwise I would have just bought or painted them. Best of luck
