Default ZO6 Springs

I have already upgraded my shocks, sway bars & End Links to 04 Z specs. Just wondering If should complete the package with 04 Z springs ? Is is worth the same ? Cost ? What would you suggest alternatively ? Car is mostly street driven. I might auto cross/drag but not sure.

Regards,
Nabil

Hi there,

Yes, you'd be surprised at what the springs would do for you. I was selling them in the low 400's shipped. I start my new position tomorrow and could help you out if you'd like. Send me an email and give me a day or two to get settled in and I'll help you out.

Thanks,
Gene.

of course, someone selling them will tell you it makes a big difference. If you already have an 01-03 Z, you won't see a difference unless you're autocrossing, and even then... the results are circumstantial.

It will make a difference on your coupe. I did it to my Z51 04 vert and was very happy with the results. The ride is not all that much stiffer and the handling really starts taking advantage of the improvements you've already done.

I have 04Z springs on my coupe as well. With bars, shocks and the springs its perfect.

fwiw....I gave $600 for 04Z06 springs with well under 1000 miles on them.

Gene, $400 for a pair or each?? If you've got them priced like that for a pair, that's a steal!

As to the OP, the Z springs in general will make a huge difference over your stock springs. I've got Z51 springs on my car right now but a set of 02 Z springs sitting in a box just waiting to go on. I've been in a few Z's and the suspension is a whole different world. Complete the package, find a good used set or go with Gene (you can't go wrong with him!).

Hi All,

Well, I would never try and sell someone a part that I didn't think would help them out. I've spoken and have dealt with a lot of people changing out the springs and they felt like it made the extra difference. Enough of a difference to justify spending the money on them.

The best I can do is 419.99 per spring. They are expensive and that's the least amount you'll pay for a new spring!

Thanks,
Gene.
