Lowering bolt question?

I lowered my 99vert on stock bolts after removing the rubber stops for additional drop in the front. I am now having problems finding a polymer or rubber strong enough to withstand the constant pressure of the front bolts while staying thinner than the stock rubber stop. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

When I cut too much off one side I cut a slice from the old bushing and super glued it back onto the pad. Still on after 5 years.

There are lots of posts re: lowering and as far as cutting your bushings you cant buy new stock ones you have to buy the spring ***. But these will work same size bolt and thread pitch as the C5 just pull the old bolts and replace them with these.

are the ones from west coast corvettes the same length as the stock bolts?or are they longer? thanks............
