Steering Column Lock - CLB - still getting error messages
Hi Everyone,
I know you guys are probably sick of all these CLB issues but I have a weird question. I've gone through all the Sticky notes and other forum postings.
Issue:
1. Remove Key for 10 seconds message
2. Service Steering Column lock message
My Car:
2001 Corvette Z06
6 speed Manual
No Mods
What I've done so far:
1. Removed the pin out of steering lock
2. All recalls have been done
3. Added in a bypass
4. Bypass the relay in one of the recalls
5. Removed fuse 25 for 15 seconds
Things I've noticed:
Green/Purple/Orange wires where you put the steering cloumn lock all have power
Still getting the 2 Messages.
Do you guys know what else I should do?

# 2 is the problem. CLBs may not work after GM recalls plus you still may get stranded with the fuel cut off. id contact Corvettes of Weschester, chuck has the means to set you straight after recalls were done.
