Default LS6 slave with LS1 master?
Can I upgrade to a LS6 slave cylinder without changing the LS1 master? Are the 2 compatible or is there some reason they have to be matched (LS6 to LS6)?

yea, we even put my LS6 slave in my buddies camaro, everything is working ok!

I just put an 04 Z06 slave with the stock master in my 99 FRC.

Yes. FWIW I think the part number is now the same for both the LS1 and LS6 slaves.
