Kind of bummed, took my worn polymatrix pads off Saturday, while installing speed bleeders, and installed hawk hps plus. Bedded the pads Saturday night, all good. Yesterday 30-50 miles on the new pads the squeek is embarressing enough that I'm going to change them out. anyone else have a major squeek with these pads?
While braking, or when barely on the brakes either appling or releasing?
If its while barely touching the brakes, put some antisqueak on the BACK of the pads (not the friction surface). I like the permatex stuff that is in an aerosol can. It sprays a nice coat of this blue glue stuff

Low speed approaching traffic lights, while applying. At race speeds, no noise at all. I've never even heard of antisqueek, thanks.
The only stuff I found is made my by gunk, cll;ed squeal medic. It says to spray directly on rotor surface, doesn't sound like the suff you're referring to.

If they are the Hawk HP Plus they will squeak ALL the time.......EXCEPT at the track and for a short while there after.
Shoot me a PM if you want to get rid of them.......

No not the same. Before you ditch the pads give this stuff a try and see if it works. It will eliminate any noise cause from the pads moving around/vibrating. If the friction material itself is causing the sound, it wont do anything for you.
You can buy it at any parts store for under $5. Liberally spray on the back of the pads and wait for it to get semi tacky, then reinstall the pads.
