tires for a procharged Z06
2002 procharged, bassani headers, .390 gears. problem: 1st and 2nd gear useless. even rips tires loose in 3rd. so i need tire recommendations and opinion. car is a street car. will never race laps or 1/4 mile at drag-strip. however i do want at least 2nd gear and up in order to properly humiliate mustang owners and other pretenders to the throne. i have been told that i can put a tire on my stock rears up to size 315-30-18. i am thinking of the bf goodrich drag radial. can some one render an opinion. i also would like to know, as a per-cent, how much more tread would i actually put on the concrete. appreciate any thoughts. thanks gentlemen and merry christmas.

This the best of both worlds, traction and handling...
I'm on my second set, and won't look elsewhere for my next set of tires!
The rears just happen to be 315/30/18...

If it not a daily driver, that won't be driven in the rain, then from one former NYer to another NYer... JUST PUT A SET OF NITTO NT-01s ON THE CAR!!!
