replace headlight bulb
I'm replacing my stock headlights in my 97 w/ an HID kit I need to get to the bulbs I already took the top cover off includind the black shroud around the headlight and still can't get to the bulb?

Each bulb socket twists out about 1/2 a turn counter clockwise before you can pull it out. Try pushing the socket in a bit while turning - you shouldn't need to force it.

I just replaced my low beams. I removed the shroud but there was no reason to do so for me. Get the headlights locked in the up position. Lift the hood. Slide your arm in between the hood and the back of the headlight. You can grab the back of the bulb and pop the connector and twist out. Took me all of 15 minutes. Spent more time taking the covers on and off.
