A6 in a C5

Anybody know if you can put a C6 paddle shift A6 in an 97 when the A4 finally craps out? (without too much trouble or fabrication)

Besides any any mechanical issues the computer control would be a large hurdle to overcome.

so maybe just a whole drive line swap (LS-2 and A6) along with the C6 computer.

I am just looking for alternatives to the A4 without the trouble of a manual swap. I have a feeling it will let go before the engine.

check with Mike at YANK about their new trani upgrades - they have packages for automatic C5's that can handle over 1000hp.Would that be enough for you ?
