Shocks Affect Steering and Road "Feel" ?
One of the things I have always wanted to improve about my Vette is its steering and road "feel". This concept is kind of hard to define. It is not handling per se, or even confidence in going around corners. It is more a feeling of being at one with the road---almost a go kart like effect. My question is whether going to coil overs or Bilstein's would enhance this effect ? The reason I ask is that on a 300zx twin turbo I had, I went to Tokico 5 way shocks, and it definitely helped produce this effect. Thanks.

A properly setup stock C5 should feel pretty good. Put some good tires under it (regular non-runcraps) and make sure the alignment is good (slightly more aggressive than stock) before you start messing with the other stuff.

I just put the Hotchkis sway bars and Bilstein Sport shocks and there is a big difference in the road feel. You can definitely feel the road better and the car is much better in the turns. I had also dumped the runcraps for Michelin PS2s already.
