Brake Pads
Hawks HPS here too. My thinking, I'd rather wash off brake dust then not be able to stop on a dime. Unless you just never, ever push your car at all. But even then, there are times in a defensive driving manuver you want the best pads you can get. I wash my car so much anyways, brake dust to me is a big non factor. Good Luck
previous owner was a woman in her mid 50's
no I have nothing against woman owners/drivers
but I know from past experience with ex wives and girlfriends
that they are not really hip to downshifting before they stop
and they tend to be hard on brakes
the brakes squeal a little in the back
they didnt do this when I test drove it

I am kinda re-new to this...
this car is so sophisticated to what I am used to
are the brakes set up with a sensor when they get too low?
the front rotors have about 1/6" depth wear?
or are the rotors supposed to be that way or flush
with the outside metal edge?
how do you know when you are going to need brakes
besides looking at the pads?
and if it does need brakes whats the
routine? cut the rotors? new rotors? GM rotors
aftermarket rotors and pads?
and how diff are the Z06 brakes from a standard 03 vette.
thanks for the help.
The car has HRE 19 inch wheels in the front and 20" in the back
Ventus tires
not sure if this has anything to do with anything
thanks
