I hope this isn't too old a subject, is there anyone who makes a rear rotor that will work with a front caliper and keep the e-brake? I know this is a silly mod, but I'm bored and would like to do this without removing anything that might not make it easy to reverse.
Thanks
I am not sure if the front caliper bracket from the front bolts to the rear caliper mounting position. If it does, you could by some after market rear rotors from Wilwood or Baer that are the 13" size and you would still have your ebrake.
I am not sure what year vette you have but anything after 2000 has a built in proportion valve in the master cylinder.
Try Baer's Eradaspeed +2 rotors and use the stock rear calipers. Keeps the emergency brake functional and "fills up" the middle of the wheel for a better look. Braking function is improved by the 1" larger radius for clamping on the disc. I don't think anyone has had a bias problem because of this: I sure don't.

I think he is trying to get the cheap mans big brake kit. Wilwood makes 13" rotors (two piece) that may work, just don't know if the bracket will work.
With the new Mid-America catalogs condensing all models into one book, maybe they cut it out. I do know they did have a kit to use the front calipers in the rear. A phone call or e-mail might be necessary. Remember though, the fronts do more than 70% of the stopping. Larger rear calipers won't make much difference other than possibly messing up the brake balance,
