engine light on after battery charge

engine light on after battery charge
I just posted something about my horns not working maybe someone can shed some light on this. But I just had another mishap with 10 mins of my posting
My battery was dead after coming back from xmas vaca, Its because my horn relay is staying on due to a problem I am having with the horns. I charged my battery with a home battery charger for about an hour to get my car to start, and all of a sudden as soon as it started my damn check engine light is now on. I did nothing at all but charge my battery and I had no problems before I did this..Any help? Also any help on my other question about my broken shorted horns?
