Need HELP!! Get no traction with ET Streets???????
I don´t understand that!!
I drove thru the water and wormed them 5 sec. then spinned out of the water.
Then I staged......stalled to 2000 rpm (as I do ever) ....then eased on it
and at about 3000 rpm I stomped it.........spinning and squeeking all the first gear ???????????????????
With my Prirellis I GET TRACTION doing this!!!!!!!!!
And with the MT streets I dont get traction!!!!!!!
What the hell!!!!!!!
I tried some difrrent tire pressions (from low to full).
These tires squeek and spin all the first gear?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
When I ordered my CCW setup, I hoped to be able to floor the pedal out of the hole and engage the NOS at 3000 rpm.
NO CHANCE!!!!
These tires have much less traction than my Pirellis???
When I look on videos from SW or others useing MT`s they alwas seem
to get no wheelspin and I also never hear the tires sueeking.

My technique at the track ..
Drop tires to 14 psi
Roll through the water box
Heat em up till you get a lot of smoke from 7 - 9 seconds
Stage right after you heat them up
Leaving at 3k should be no problem
As long as you have heated them properly you should have no problems with tire spin. They certainly have 10 times the traction your pirelli's have.

Yup, less water, longer burn out, and less tire PSI. WIth my 26" ET Streets I've dropped the clutch at 5.5k on a 100+ shot of NOS.

HOT!!!!!!
Do they have that bad traction then??? Worse than streettires??
So a 4-5 sec. burnout is not enough??
Should I really burne em longer ??
SW does only 3-4sec. burnouts on the Videos and gets perfect traction????
The ET`s have only 3 burnouts now (kind of new).
May that be a reason also??
What about the Sqeeking noise???
I never heard MT´s squeek , but mine do (more than the streettires)???
My lowest pressure that I tried was 12 PSI.

If only I would know :(
We have no special tracks here in Austria.
So I only have the ET`s and sometimes (most times) the trapspeed.
To look at the 60`s would make it much easier to compare.

One thing to try is give your tires a little spin in the water and then pull out of the water for the burnout. You do not want to burn out in the water. Just get them wet.
I would say at least 7 seconds. Do you burn out in forst or second gear? You want to be in second.
